ProNet Systems 2013 Seminar, "Security on the Move," was Well Received by Attendees
ProNet Systems was pleased to invite security professionals to the complimentary educational seminar on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Capital City Club in Raleigh, NC.
This seminar, titled “Security on the Move” included technology updates and presentations related to remote monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and related services either on site or through the use of hand held devices.
With technology changes it is becoming more cost effective to expand upon and transition existing systems using HD and intelligent video – often moving to a hybrid system (including both existing analog CCTV cameras and new digital HD megapixel cameras) operating on a new video management platform before reaching long term goals.
Likewise, new trends in access control include remote alarms, utility monitoring/control and other features for improved remote building and site management. New trends in perimeter security were also be discussed, including controlled turnstiles and doors and thermal imaging video technology.
A continental breakfast and lunch was included in the seminar program. Program information CD's and attendance certificates were provided and the program will contribute towards ASIS CPP recertification credits.
In addition to the lectures and demonstrations, we invited representatives of what we believe to be the more significant emerging technologies seen at the 2013 National ASIS Security Seminar and Exhibits. This equipment was be displayed in an adjoining room and we were available to answer questions and provide hands-on demonstrations during the product review time allocated.
