Visit State Fair Cam to view the NC State Fair FairCam, a Pelco PTZ camera installed as a web cam for the fair's duration (October 13 - 22) 2006. This demonstrates how a standard CCTV camera can be used with Pelco Net software for a web cam application. The system is set up for image updates every 30 seconds to accommodate dial-up modem speeds. With extended bandwidth the system can provide realtime digital video at three pictures per second. The past complimentary Executive Briefing was held at the Capital City Club, Raleigh, from 8.00 am to 4.15 p.m. The focus was on "Converging Security Technology". The previous seminar was on "Making Your IT Network Work For You" with presentations from six prominent industry speakers. The guests enjoyed an early breakfast and the club's well known buffet lunch. The door prize draw took place at the end of the day and door prizes included a still digital camera, wireless telephone and other "cool stuff".
