Kile Unterzuber is a graduate of Harvard College, where he was awarded his BA degree in 1975. Following graduate studies at the University of Chicago, he joined a private security firm in North Carolina and has since worked in both the construction and consulting sides of the industry.

Mr. Unterzuber has been recognized as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by the American Society for Industrial Security and as a Certified Engineering Technician by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and volunteers as a Senior Instructor for the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association's National Training School. He is also licensed by the State of North Carolina for Counterintelligence Services and is an Associate Private Investigator. Mr. Unterzuber lectures frequently on information security, technical surveillance countermeasures, and computer forensics.
