SBI: Digital Evidence Discussed

Special Agent Jimmy Schroering graduated from Strayer University with a B.S. in Computer Networking, an A.A. in Internetworking and an A.A. in Database Technology. Other relevant continued education included SBI Forensic Video Analysis Training, Ocean Systems “dTective Forensic Video Analysis Training”, American Academy of Applied Forensics “Forensic Processing of Surveillance Video”, Resolution Video “Photoshop for Forensic Video Analysts”, Digital Audio Corporation “Advanced Forensic Audio Training”, Digital Audio Corporation “Forensic Audio Filtering and Tape Enhancement” and the National White Collar Crime Center’s “Basic Data Recovery and Analysis”.

Jimmy joined the NCSBI in 2003 and as Digital Evidence Analyst is responsible for the analysis of video evidence, the receipt and return of all evidence in Documents and Digital Evidence and testifying the results of the analysis in court if necessary. He previously worked for Intrex, Inc. and Intrex Internet Services where he gained experience as PC Technician and Network Administrator in the trouble shooting, repair and building of personal computers in addition to the administration of Cisco Routers, UNIX servers, Windows 2000 servers and related equipment. www.ncsbi.gov
