Alan Jelley, President of ProNet Systems, Inc. qualified in Electronics Engineering while with the Royal Air Force, England. When in Pasadena, USA and Southern Africa he received diplomas in Production Management, Microprocessor Technology and Quality Assurance. He holds a Low Voltage
Electrical License (LVSP) and contributed to communication and telemetry systems for a well-known NASA project while in Pasadena.

Alan has over twenty years specialized technical expertise in applying value added video, access control, audio and related systems. He is experienced in the design and application of LAN/WAN, wireless and microwave technology and has shared this knowledge during many training programs. During Alan Jelley’s presentation, Tom Brown of HID Corporation will further discuss access card and reader trends. Tom Brown is a graduate of The University of Central Arkansas with a BS in math with emphasis on education. Tom has been in the security industry as a field representative managing customer expectations and requirements for over 17 years. He began his security career with Schlage Electronics as Business Development Manager for Schlage’s new UNIX based Enterprise Security Management System and later held Regional Management and National Account Management positions. In 1999 Mr. Brown joined Northern Computers to assist with the rollout of a new Windows NT Enterprise Security Management System and worked with many large end user accounts as they implemented the system to bring multiple sites into the same head end server. In 2003 Mr. Brown joined HID as Regional Manager responsible for the South/Southwest Region. He currently works with integrators, end users, and consultants as they implement card systems for their organizations and customers.
